George Parrott, age 6, is in the 1860 census for Pulaski Co., IN. He is living with Elizabeth, b in OH, and who is married to David Jones. David and Elizabeth Jones are also in the 1850 census, so this is not a case of Elizabeth being his mother who widowed and remarried. Thus George came to live with them sometime between his birth and 1860. As per the 1880 census, George's parents were b in VA. The 1900 census finds his daughter, Ora, living with her grandparents, George and Carmalia Cook, though it is not clear if these were her maternal or paternal grandparents. His descendants moved to Arkansas.
